The process of taking a screenshot with NOX is relatively easy and all you need do is click on the scissor icon, which is located on the sidebar and press CTRL + 1. Once you’ve taken a photo, NOX will save the file to your computer. The location of the image is dependent on whether you’re operating NOX using Windows as well as Mac. Find below assistance to find the appropriate operating system for you:
On Windows, your NOX screenshots are stored by default in Image or ImageShare, which can be found in this folder (see below for more help if they aren’t here):
To access this folder:
- Open up a File Explorer window (you can do this by right clicking the start menu and clicking File Explorer)
- Paste %UserProfile%\Nox_share into the address bar at the top
- Hit ENTER on your keyboard, and then navigate into the Image or ImageShare folder
If your screenshots aren’t saved in the above folder, please see troubleshooting at the bottom of this article.
On Mac, you can find your screenshots taken via NOX in the Image or ImageShare folders which are , by default, found at the following location:
To go to this folder, open a Finder window, hit COMMAND + SHIFT + G, paste the above path into the text field and hit Go!
As with Windows, if your screenshots aren’t in this folder, or this folder doesn’t exist, see troubleshooting.
If you are unable to locate your screenshots within this folder start up NOX and then click on the computer icon located in the sidebar. When you do this, a new window called “File Assistant” will open within this window, you will find your shared folder’s location in the middle of “PC Shared Folder”. In this folder, you’ll discover a folder titled Image or ImageShare which contains your images.
