Dataplex installer says I don't have a qualified drive

Symptom:

During installation, Dataplex may inform you that you do not have a qualified drive.


Possible Cause:

This means that the Dataplex installer is having trouble finding the proper SSD drive for your install code. This could be because you're trying to use Dataplex with a non-Dataplex-compatible SSD, or it could be due to other connectivity issues.


Troubleshooting

  1. Make sure you are using Dataplex with a Dataplex compatible SSD product.

  2. Make sure you do not have an older version of Dataplex installed. If you do uninstall it, reboot and try your install again..

  3. Follow the instructions to generate diagnostic information for you system and email the results to [email protected] along with a description of your motherboard (make, model, etc) and the problem you're encountering, so we may help you troubleshoot the issue.
