If you are asked to generate diagnostic information for Dataplex, please take the following steps:

For versions prior to V1.1.3.7

1. Download the DataplexCollectLogs package from:
   http://dl.dropbox.com/u/4732943/NVReleases/DataplexCollectLogs.zip

2. Extract the DataplexCollectLogs.zip file

3. change into the directory where you extracted the zip file

4. Run the DataplexCollectLogs.bat file as an Administrator

5. A *._zip file will be created in the execution directory

6. Email the *._zip file to [email protected]

For Versions after v1.1.3.7

1. From the extracted Dataplex download change into the tools\DataplexCollectLogs Directory

2. Run the DataplexCollectLogs.bat file as an Administrator

3. A *._zip file will be created in the execution directory

4. Email the *._zip file to [email protected]
