We are on a mission. Our goal is to deliver innovative software that breaks the age-old I/O bottleneck for computing, and enable a whole new value proposition for system performance in both client and server computing. Advances in computing technology over the last 10 years have been nothing short of amazing. But despite the significant gains in CPU performance, DRAM speed, and HDD capacity, overall system performance has essentially stalled. SSD technology is key to overcoming the I/O bottleneck that limits today's computing systems.

Dataplex™ was our first step towards unlocking computing performance. Dataplex cache software delivers dramatic performance gains by intelligently managing the use of a small capacity (less expensive) SSD in conjunction with a larger capacity HDD. The results? You can now have SSD performance across the full storage capacity of your HDD — at a fraction of the cost of a full-capacity SSD.

In December 2012, NVELO was acquired and became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. As part of the Samsung team, we have a renewed passion to develop the next generation of software for unleashing the true potential for SSD technology in computing.
